What's Happening at the Library

New @ OWU Libraries This Spring

by Amanda Raab on 2023-01-16T16:47:00-05:00 | 0 Comments

The OWU Libraries has several new service changes to announce for spring. Read below for details.

Privacy Pod Added to Beeghly

Beeghly’s new privacy pod is a soundproof space ideal for individual or small group work that requires a private location (e.g podcasting, a counseling session, job interviews, or virtual class attendance). The space can accommodate up to 4 people and is wheelchair accessible. To learn more about the pod, its features, and how to make a reservation, visit our privacy pod FAQ page.

Self Checkout Station at Hobson Science Library

This semester, the Libraries will be piloting a self checkout option in the Science library. For now, the pilot will be confined to Science books but if the station proves popular, we will explore expanding to other locations in the future.

New Opening Time for Beeghly Library

Beeghly will be opening at 8:30am this semester. Access to printers and computers will remain available in Beeghly’s 24/7 space for those with early printing needs.

As always, the Libraries welcomes your feedback as we strive to provide the best service possible. You can let us know what you think any time about these changes or anything else library related by writing us an email at libraries@owu.edu or filling out the Academic Support Feedback form.
