The L.A. Beeghly Library is the main library at Ohio Wesleyan University. The library houses an Information Commons, a 24/7 study space, the Media Center, the Archives of Ohio United Methodism, a Rare Books, Manuscripts, and Artifacts collection, and the OWU Historical Collection. The Libraries belong to two Ohio library consortia: Five Colleges of Ohio and OhioLINK. As a result, the Libraries are able to provide the OWU community access to a variety of shared electronic resources as well as print materials from over 100 Ohio libraries for their research and study.
The Media Center is located on the lower level of Beeghly Library. The Media Center offers members of the Ohio Wesleyan University community a specialized area for audio visual resources and services that support teaching and learning as well as campus events.
The Hobson Science Library supports students and faculty in the earth, life, and physical sciences. Part of the Schimmel Conrades Science Center, it provides information resources in the form of journals, books, reference materials, reserves, and databases. Redesigned in 2004, the Hobson Science Library continues the tradition of embedded services to the sciences that began over fifty years ago.
