COVID-19 Course Resource Guide

We're in This Together: An Interdisciplinary Exploration of the Coronavirus Pandemic

Introduction

The purpose of this guide is to help participants taking OWU’s COVID-19 class to locate resources to add to their understanding of the crisis.

We’re in This Together: An Interdisciplinary Exploration of the Coronavirus Pandemic is a 10-week course, where 24 Ohio Wesleyan faculty members address the coronavirus pandemic from perspectives across academic disciplines. Through lectures, panel discussions, and questions from the class, they will explore the lasting effects this crisis will have on global society, even as the pandemic unfolds. For more information on the course itself, please see the official COVID class page.

We have also created a guide with safety information and more resources about COVID-19. If you need more information on the virus itself, please go to library.owu.edu/covid19.

How to use this Guide

The guide is organized by week. In each tab on the side, you will find additional readings, sources of information to explore, and suggested keywords that you can use when searching library resources, whether they be at OWU or in your local community.

A Note on Access

Wherever possible, we are including open-access (or freely available) materials. However, there may be resources, especially in the Recommended Database sections of each week, that may limit access to current OWU students, faculty, and staff. If you are unable to access those resources for that reason, please check your local public library.
