Review Articles are a special kind of research literature. They are written by recognized experts in the field for the purpose of completely covering the development of topic of inquiry. Authors of Review Articles will identify and discuss the most important research articles relavent to the topic. The will specifically note how the work led to the development of the topic. At the end of a review article will be an extensive bibliography that effectively list all the important work on a topic up to the date of publication. Master's and Doctoral Theses or Dissertations also contain extensive literature reviews.
