Welcome to the 2016 Election LibGuide. This guide was created to help students at OWU learn more about the upcoming primaries, presidential election, its candidates, and the issues. It provides media coverage of campaigns, provides web sites to follow spending, as well as some great sites to fact check, learn about voter registration, check out related polls, news, and more. 

 

Register to Vote

Make sure you register to vote! Voter registration will be taking place on campus in several locations. Please check the listings below for times and dates (taken from the OWU Daily) 

 

Here are the times and locations:
–Mondays and Wednesdays in Ham-Wil: 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
–Mondays and Wednesdays in Beeghly Library: 6-8 p.m.
–Tuesdays and Thursdays in OMSA (Ham-Wil 206): 1:30-3 p.m.
–Students with clipboards will also be available on a regular basis to help with registration in Smith Hall lobby near the entrance of the dining hall and the Thomson Store area, so please be on the lockout there too.

Remember, to vote in Ohio you must be registered by Oct. 11
