This guide is intended to help you find sources for a literature review for ECON 251.
Research in economics, as in any other academic field, builds on the work of previous researchers. A literature review is an important first step when beginning a research project to get a sense of what research has already been done on the topic.
A literature review is a survey of existing literature that provides context for your research contribution, and demonstrates your subject knowledge. It is also the way to tell the story of how your research extends knowledge in your field.
