How do we learn about events?

When we look for information about events, we need to think in terms of when the event happened.  The river of information flows out from an event in predictable ways and influences how we retrieve information about it.  It actually has a name, "The Flow of Information."  Use this guide to learn how information about events wind up in sources as diverse as twitter feeds and scholarly journals.
