What's Happening at the Library

Accessing the Library During Construction

Due to the Schimmel/Conrades courtyard construction project, the main exterior entrance to Hobson Library will be unavailable. 

You can access the library via two ground floor entrances in the north Schimmel/Conrades building (aka Bigelow Rice Hall). 

East Entrance

The east-side entrance is off Henry Street across from the Commuter Parking Lot next to Selby Stadium. Take the stairwell or elevator up one floor to the Library.

North Entrance

The north-side entrance is off the drive between Bigelow Rice and Phillips Hall. This is the former print shop entrance. Enter and take a left down the hall to the elevator or the east stairwell to the library. Please note that the west-side stairwell closest to this entrance does *not* go the library on the second floor; it only goes up to the third floor.
