For help finding good resources on film, here are a few helpful terms or phrases.
A good place to start is to make sure you are using ancient, medieval, or renaissance to modify your search. For instance, medieval literature or ancient civilization are both good searches. Typically, you want to combine the time period and the subject for the ideal research starter term. Some other terms you can combine them with are social history, gender, or criminal justice, to name a few.
Summon is a library search tool that lets you search across the majority of the library's resources including books in CONSORT, full-text articles from academic databases, media, ebooks, and lots more from a single search box.
CONSORT is the online catalog shared by OWU, Denison, Kenyon, and Wooster. Search here to find books, magazines, music, and video.
The OhioLINK catalog allows you to search libraries throughout the state and request items to be delivered to you here at OWU.
