Visitors must wear a mask for the entirety of their visit per the university-wide safety protocols. Patrons unwilling to comply with this protocol can be served by department staff virtually instead.
Visitors must follow all campus safety protocols, including checking their temperature and for symptoms of illness before arrival to OWU’s Beeghly Library. The complete list of OWU’s Safe Campus policy can be found here: https://www.owu.edu/about/safe-campus-guide-covid-19/owu-expectations/.
In order to implement appropriate safety and cleaning procedures and to accommodate all persons wishing to use the Special Collections, visit duration will be capped at 2 hours on days of high demand. Visitors must leave by the end of their set appointment time. If you anticipate needing more than 2 hours, there will be a place for you to communicate that to us on the above form or in subsequent communications prior to your visit.
Bringing a camera in order to capture images of items is highly recommended, as library scanning equipment will not be not available for visitor use. Please let us know if this causes a problem for your research, so that we can discuss alternatives prior to your visit.
