Summer Bridge Program Resource Guide

Introduction to Resources

There are several ways to locate materials at OWU Library.

OWUSearch lets you search for books, both physical and online, as well as articles, videos, and more, both at OWU and beyond. If you are looking to find a book, OWUSearch, the main box on the library's homepage, is a great place to start.

Databases are electronic collections of information that can help you through every stage of the research process. Some databases are subject specific while others are multi-disciplinary. If you have an assignment that requires "peer-reviewed" or "scholarly" sources, databases are a good place to start.

InterLibrary Loan

If there is a specific item you need that you cannot find through the above resources, you can request it using InterLibrary Loan (ILL). This service allows you to borrow items from libraries outside of Ohio. You can learn more about ILL on the ILL FAQ webpage
