Note: The following status updates refer to spaces and services at Beeghly Library only.
Following the latest campus safety protocol revisions, fully vaccinated individuals (two weeks after final vaccination) are no longer required to wear face masks or practice social distancing while outdoors or indoors on campus.
Unvaccinated individuals must continue to wear face masks covering the nose and mouth and practice appropriate social distancing while inside. If you forget your face covering, the library can assist in providing a temporary one for your visit. Please request one at the main service desk.
Each floor has also been equipped with a sanitization station, which includes hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for your use. Please be sure to wipe down your work area before and after use with the wipes. Should you notice supplies running low, please alert library staff.
Individual study rooms will remain unavailable until further notice as we have had to repurpose many of these spaces for other needs.
If you need a more private space to participate in a virtual class or a project, please contact the Media Center to see if we can help with your request.
Study carrels located around the stacks on the second and third floors are now available again for use.
The following sections will continue to be closed to users:
Users will be able to request items from these two collections. Please ask library staff if you require assistance.
A variety of directional and safety signage has been placed in the building to help with social distancing and provide other important information (e.g. bathroom use, elevators, etc.). We have doing out best to update signage with the latest safety protocols and decisions as they happen. We appreciate your patience during this time of transition.
Please take time to read these and don’t hesitate to ask staff if you have questions.
