Note: The following status updates refer to spaces and services at Beeghly Library only.
Please note that face coverings will be required for the entirety of your visit. If you need to eat/drink, we ask you do so outside to avoid having to take your covering off in the building. If you forget your face covering, the library can assist in providing a temporary one for your visit. Please request one at the main service desk.
Each floor has also been equipped with a sanitization station, which includes hand sanitizer and disinfectant wipes for your use. Please be sure to wipe down your work area before and after use with the wipes. Should you notice supplies running low, please alert library staff.
Individual study rooms will remain unavailable until further notice as we have had to repurpose many of these spaces for other needs.
If you need a more private space to participate in a virtual class or a project, please contact the Media Center to see if we can help with your request.
Study carrels located around the stacks on the second and third floors will be unavailable for use.
The following sections, along with the surrounding carrels, will be closed to users:
Users will be able to request items from all three collections.
Unfortunately, we will not be able to offer our locker service at the present time. Please plan accordingly.
A variety of directional and safety signage has been placed in the building to help with social distancing and provide other important information (e.g. bathroom use, elevators, etc.).
Please take time to read these and don’t hesitate to ask staff if you have questions.
Mini whiteboards will not be available for use/lending.
Some laptops, chargers, and other electronic equipment will not be available for short-term lending. Please use the equipment request form if you are in need of one of these items.
