Copyright and Fair Use Workshop
Presenters: Cathi Cardwell, Director of Libraries, and Emily Gattozzi, Digital Initiatives Librarian and Copyright Manager
Location: The ICEcube in Beeghly Library
Dates: Wednesday, November 6, 2013 and Friday, December 6, 2013
Today's information environment is increasingly complex, and faculty want to take advantage of that rich environment to enhance student learning in their courses and in other educational settings. Incorporating articles, chapters, movies, images, and other copyrighted materials into courses is not always clear cut.
Attend this workshop to find out more about ways to exercise your fair use rights and ways that you can effectively incorporate licensed library materials into your courses. Workshop leaders, Cathi Cardwell and Emily Gattozzi, will share common scenarios and ways faculty and the Libraries can exercise fair use rights to meet teaching needs.
A Digital Scholarship workshop conducted by Dr. Jacob Heil, the Ohio 5 Libraries Digital Scholar.
Watch for upcoming announcements.
