• Academic Search Complete designed specifically for academic institutions, is the world's most valuable and comprehensive scholarly, multi-disciplinary full-text database, with more than 5,500 full-text periodicals, including more than 4,600 peer-reviewed journals. In addition to full text, this database offers indexing and abstracts for more than 9,500 journals and a total of nearly 10,000 publications including monographs, reports, conference proceedings, etc. The database features PDF content going back as far as 1865, with the majority of full text titles in native (searchable) PDF format. • African-American Poetry Database includes the full text of almost 3000 poems written by African-American poets in the late eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. African-American Poetry is a resource for literary scholars and for researchers in black studies, linguistics, women's studies, black literary heritage, and comparative studies. The poetry explores a multitude of topics, including abolition, children, civil rights, dreams, education, fugitive slave law, Indian raids, liberty, political issues, prejudice, and slavery. The variety of poem types is equally broad. The database includes allegories, broadsides, children's poems, elegiac poems, epics, hymns, odes, patriotic poems, and sonnets. The poets are among those included in the William French et al. bibliography, Afro-American Poetry and Drama, 1760-1975. The full-text of the poems is included and is fully searchable.

• America's Newspapers is a collection of full-text newspapers available online. The database includes 17 Ohio newspapers, plus other major newspapers from other states. Content includes local and regional news, including community events, schools, politics, government policies, cultural activities, local companies, state industries, and people in the community.
• American Drama currently contains more than 700 plays from over 300 dramatists. When finished, American Drama will feature the complete texts of more than 2,000 plays written by American dramatists.
• American National Biography Online is a biographical resource on more than 18,000 people from all eras who have influenced and shaped American history and culture. The ANB Online features thousands of illustrations, more than 80,000 hyperlinked cross-references, links to select web sites, and powerful search capabilities. Also included are over 900 articles from The Oxford Companion to United States History, which provides information on the landmark events in U.S. history and gives context to the lives included in ANB Online.
• American Periodical Series contains digitized images of the pages of American magazines and journals that originated between 1741, when Andrew Bradford's American Magazine and Benjamin Franklin's General Magazine were launched, and 1900. Deriving from the acclaimed American Periodicals Series microform collection, APS Online features over 1,100 periodicals spanning nearly 200 years-from colonial times to the advent of American involvement in World War II. Anthropology Plus provides extensive worldwide indexing of journal articles, reports, commentaries, edited works, and obituaries in the fields of social, cultural, physical, biological, and linguistic anthropology, ethnology, archaeology, folklore, material culture, and interdisciplinary studies.
• AP Images contains 400,000 images, most of which are contemporary photos made since late 1995.
• Archives Unbound presents topically-focused digital collections of historical documents that support the research and study needs of scholars and students at the college and university level. Collections in Archives Unbound cover a broad range of topics from the Middle Ages forward-from Witchcraft to World War II to twentieth-century political history. Collections are chosen for Archives Unbound based on requests from scholars, archivists, and students.

• Arts and Humanities Citation Index is a multidisciplinary database covering the journal literature of the arts and humanities. It indexes over 1,100 of the world's leading arts and humanities journals, as well as covering individually selected, relevant items from over 7,000 major science and social science journals.
• ARTstor is an n interdisciplinary resource that provides access to thousands of high resolution images from many times and cultures in the areas of art, architecture, the humanities, and social sciences.  Includes images of architecture, painting, photography, sculpture, decorative arts and design, archeological and anthropological objects, and visual and material culture more generally.  Register with ARTstor to use it off-campus and to access advanced ARTstor functions.

• BIOSIS Previews monitors nearly 5,500 international journals representing virtually every life science discipline, including agriculture, biochemistry, biotechnology, botany, ecology, environment, microbiology, neurology, pharmacology, public health.
• The Birds of North America Onlineis a comprehensive reference covering the life histories of North American birds.
• British Literary Manuscripts Online, Medieval and Renaissance presents facsimile images of literary manuscripts, including letters and diaries, drafts of poems, plays, novels, and other literary works, and similar materials.
• Business Source Complete indexes over 3200 periodicals and contains full text for over 2700 scholarly journals and business periodicals covering management, economics, finance, accounting, international business, etc. Business Source Premier contains full text from the world's top anagement and marketing journals and also includes many leading journals in the areas of economics, finance, and accounting, as well as country economic reports.
• China Online Journals covers 98.5% of the core journals in China.
• CINAHL Plus (Nursing) the Cumulative Index of Nursing and Allied Health Literature provides nursing and allied health articles from 600 publications.
• Communication & Mass Media Complete incorporates CommSearch (formerly produced by the National Communication Association) and Mass Media Articles Index (formerly produced by Penn State) along with numerous other journals to create a research and reference resource in the communication and mass media fields. CMMC offers cover-to-cover (“core”) indexing and abstracts for over 300 journals, and selected (“priority”) coverage of over 100 more, for a combined coverage of over 400 titles. Furthermore, this database includes full text for nearly 200 journals. • CQ Researcher covers today's most important issues and controversial subjects. It includes in-depth, single topic reports featuring more than 12,000 words of text and extensive bibliographies.
• Dictionary of Literary Biography Complete Online provides access to biographical essays focusing on all genres and time periods of American and British literature and selected other literatures. Essays discuss the lives and careers of authors and summarize critical responses to their work. 
• Digital Resource Center (OhioLINK) provides access to images, sounds, video, numeric data, and other types of media information for the community and the world.
• Dissertation Abstracts contains more than 2 million entries for doctoral dissertations and master's theses. The database includes citations for materials ranging from the first U.S. dissertation, accepted in 1861, to those accepted as recently as last semester. Since 1997, new publications have been available electronically, and many publications can be ordered through the system for a fee. The database represents the work of authors from over 1,000 North American graduate schools and European universities.
• Early American Fiction contains 440 works of 80 novelists and short-story writers, 1774-1850. This database comprises the full texts of the first editions of American novels and short stories written before 1850 by authors of significance during their lifetimes.
• Ebrary features subscription access to over 70,000 titles in electronic format from academic publishers covering all of the major disciplines.
• Ebsco eBooks Collection (formerly NetLibrary) is a library of electronic books (e-books) on many academic subjects. The collection includes thousands of titles purchased by OhioLINK, plus thousands of public-domain e-books. Users can preview an e-book online, peruse a page, read each page in depth, jump to specific chapters or pages, or use links in the Table of Content or Index to go directly to specific chapters of interest. Every word in every book is searchable. This collection operates on the library check-out model, where readers check out e-books for a specified amount of time.
• EconLit  is a comprehensive, indexed bibliography with selected abstracts of the world's economic literature, produced by the American Economic Association. It includes coverage of over 400 major journals as well as articles in collective volumes (essays, proceedings, etc.), books, book reviews, dissertations, and working papers licensed from the Cambridge University Press Abstracts of Working Papers in Economics.
• Economia y Negocios is the result of a collaborative effort between EBSCO Publishing and ESAN (Escuela de Administración de Negocios para Graduados). This continuously updated bibliographic database is an indispensable tool for research conducted in the areas of business and economics. More than 60,000 records, dating back to the early 1980s, provide coverage for over 200 Spanish and Portuguese-language periodicals published in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Spain, the United States and elsewhere. • Fuente Academica is a unique collection of scholarly journals from renowned Latin American and Spanish publishers. This multi-disciplinary database offers full text content to many academic areas including business & economics, medical sciences, political science, law, computer science, library & information sciences, literature, linguistics, history, philosophy and theology.
• Funk & Wagnalls New World Encyclopedia indexes over 25,000 records, covering an array of topics. Full text for each record may be easily accessed by double clicking on the topic from the display. The database contains various images, offers brief biographies as well as information in a variety of subject areas.
• Gale Virtual Reference Library is a collection of electronic reference books from Gale and other publishers.
• Gender Studies Database covers the full spectrum of gender-engaged scholarship inside and outside academia. Several thousand links to freely available and indexed full-text articles and documents on the Web are available. Source documents include professional journals, conference papers, books, book chapters, government reports, discussion and working papers, theses & dissertations and other sources.
• Gender Watch is a full text database of publications that focus on the impact of gender across a broad spectrum of subject areas.
• General Science Full Text is a bibliographic database that indexes and abstracts articles of at least one column in length from English-language periodicals published in the United States and Great Britain. Periodical coverage includes popular science magazines as well as professional journals.
• GeoRef  provides access to the geoscience literature of the world. The database contains references to geoscience journal articles, books, maps, conference papers, reports and theses.
• Google Books is a digitized collection of books from a variety of partners including libraries. It includes both in copyright and public domain items. For out of copyright and public domain items, users can access the entire text. If the entire text is not available or you wish to find the book in print, Google added a link which allows users to search for the book in their local library collections.
• Google Scholar search for scholarly literature. From one place, you can search across many disciplines and sources: articles, theses, books, abstracts and court opinions, from academic publishers, professional societies, online repositories, universities and other web sites.
• GPO Monthly Catalog is a catalog of U.S. Government documents.
• GreenFILE offers well-researched information covering all aspects of human impact to the environment. Its collection of scholarly, government and general-interest titles includes content on global warming, green building, pollution, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, recycling, and more.
• GREENR focuses on the physical, social, and economic aspects of environmental issues.
• Heritage of the Printed Book Database (formerly Hand Press Book Database) includes 764,000 records from the Consortium of European Research Libraries for European printing during the hand-press period.
• HarpWeek: The Civil War Era and Reconstruction has the full text and images of Harper's Weekly, 1857-1865.
• HathiTrust is a digitized collection of books and serials from libraries and research institutions devoted to preservation, open access and ease of use. Collections include both freely-viewable public domain items (e.g. published before 1923) and in-copyright limited-view items. For those items with limited access, one can still perform a full text search for certain key words. Contact a librarian for more information about this option. This collection is especially recommended for the Humanities and Social Sciences. 
• Health Source: Consumer Editionis a rich collection of consumer health information.
• Health Source: Nursing/Academic Edition provides nearly 590 scholarly full text journals focusing on many medical disciplines. Also featured are abstracts and indexing for over 625 journals. Coverage of nursing and allied health is particularly strong.

• Historical Statistics of the United States provides data on social, behavioral, humanistic, and natural sciences including history, economics, government, finance, sociology, demography, education, law, natural resources, climate, religion, international migration, and trade -quantitative facts of American History.
• Humanities International Complete is a comprehensive database covering journals, books and other important reference sources in the humanities. It provides cover-to-cover indexing and abstracting for over 1,700 journals and contains more than 1.5 million records. It includes deep backfiles for some of the most important journals in the area of humanities.
• ICPSR (The Inter-university Consortium for Political and Social Research) maintains and provides access to a vast archive of social science data for research and instruction.
• In The First Person provides in-depth indexing of more than 2,500 collections of oral history in English from around the world... It allows for keyword searching of more than 260,000 pages of full-text by more than 9,000 individuals from all walks of life. It also contains pointers to at least 2,500 audio and video files and 16,000 bibliographic records.
• Insurance Periodicals Index indexes and abstracts over 200 of the most respected and widely-read insurance industry journals and magazines.
• International Bibliography of Theatre & Dance contains all of the content available in International Bibliography of Theatre & Dance as well as full text for 100 titles.

• ISI Web of Knowledgeis the interface for the ISI Citation databases, including Arts and Humanities Citation Index, Social Sciences Citation Index, and Science Citation Index Expanded. The Citation Indexes provide access to current and retrospective bibliographic information, author abstracts and cited references. They allow researchers to conduct broad, comprehensive searches, providing cited reference searching- thus breaking through disciplinary, time and geographic boundaries.

• LexisNexis Academic Universe provides legal, news, and business information from 13,500 news and business sources, and 4,800 legal sources.
• LGBT Life contains all of the content available in LGBT Life as well as full text for 50 of the most important and historically significant LGBT journals, magazines and regional newspapers, as well as dozens of full text monographs.
• Library, Information Science & Technology Abstracts indexes more than 600 periodicals, plus books, research reports and proceedings. • Literary Reference Center includes information on thousands of authors and their works across literary disciplines and timeframes.
• Mango Language Learning Center is an online language-learning system that can help you learn languages like Spanish, French, Japanese, Brazilian Portuguese, German, Mandarin Chinese, Greek, Italian, Russian and more. It also offers English language lessons if English is not your first language. The system is divided into modules that have clear goals related to conversation and pronunciation. It uses a variety of teaching methods including flashcards, repetition, and cultural notes. It also contains a translation feature.
• MathSciNet Mathematical Reviews online is the searchable Web database providing access to over 59 years of Mathematical Reviews and Current Mathematical Publications.
• MedicLATINA is a Spanish language collection of medical research and investigative journals published by renowned Latin American medical publishers.
• Medline indexes and abstracts 3,600 leading journals worldwide in medical research and practice. It covers the gamut of medical care, including medical and biomedical research, clinical practice, disease, pharmacology, administration, health care delivery and health policy issues.

• Music Center (OhioLINK) a subset of the Naxos Music Library, is an online streaming music database of international works from Classical to Spoken Word. The 78,000+ tracks, 21,000+ works can be searched or browsed by track, title, performer, album, composer and date of composition. Flash player is required. Access to the music files is restricted to the students, faculty and staff of OhioLINK member institutions.

• North American Women's Letters and Diaries, Colonial-1950 spanning more than 300 years, it is a large collection of women's diaries and correspondence.
• Ohio Capital Connection provides information about current and past legislation of the Ohio General Assembly. Updated daily, it has the complete status and full text of bills introduced in the Ohio General Assembly. This database includes rosters of House and Senate members searchable by name or location, and addresses and biographies of the General Assembly members. • Oxford Music Onlineprovides comprehensive coverage of the music discipline via three standard resources (Grove Music Online, the Oxford Companion to Music, and Oxford Dictionary of Music) which can be searched individually or as a group.  Grove Music Online is the most detailed and provides lengthy entries that often include illustrations, musical examples, bibliographies, and in the case of composers, a complete list of his or her known works.  The Oxford Companion to Music is less detailed and can be seen as a light version of Grove.  Entries often include illustrations, musical examples, and bibliographies.  The Oxford Dictionary of Music is the least detailed and functions well as a quick reference.  Entries are generally brief but in the case of composers contain works lists.  
• Oxford Reference Online includes the full text of about 100 dictionary, language reference, and subject reference works from Oxford University Press.
• Oxford Scholarship Online includes the complete texts of important scholarly books from Oxford University Press.
• PapersFirst has more than 580,000 papers included in every congress, conference, exposition, workshop, symposium, and meeting received at The British Library from October 1993 to the present.
• Philosopher's Index provides indexing and abstracts from books and journals of philosophy and related fields. It covers the areas of ethics, aesthetics, social philosophy, political philosophy, epistemology, and metaphysic logic as well as material on the philosophy of law, religion, science, history, education, and language.
• ProceedingsFirst has more than 19,000 citations of every congress, symposium, conference, exposition, workshop and meeting received at The British Library from October 1993 to the present..
• Psychology and Behavioral Sciences Collection covers emotional and behavioral characteristics, psychiatry and psychology, mental processes, anthropology, and observational and experimental methods.
• PsycINFO abstracts the world's most significant professional literature in psychology and its applications.
• Readers' Guide Abstractsis a database containing comprehensive indexing and abstracting of the most popular general-interest periodicals published in the United States and Canada.
• Readers' Guide Retro is a database containing comprehensive indexing of the most popular general-interest periodicals published in the United States and reflects the history of 20th century America. Current coverage for this database includes the years 1890 through 1982.
• Regional Business News is a collection of full text newswires that incorporates news information from all over the world. Information provided by these sources covers business, political, economic and other diverse, nternational news events. In order to maintain the most current collection of news, this database contains the most recent 30 days of information from each of these wire sources.
• Religion and Philosophy Collection covers such topics as world religions, major denominations, biblical studies, religious history, epistemology, political philosophy, philosophy of language, moral philosophy and the history of philosophy.
• RILM Abstracts of Music Literature  (Répertoire International de Littérature Musicale) Devoted to the scholarly study of music, RILM provides citations and abstracts from an international collection of books, conference proceedings, journal articles, dissertations, internet resources, sound recordings, and motion pictures from 1967-present.  Conference proceedings and Festschriften are covered as far back as the early 19th century.  RILM covers all topics in music.
• Russian Academy of Sciences Bibliographies describes material on the social sciences and humanities published in the Commonwealth of Independent States and Eastern Europe — books, manuscripts, dissertations,and articles from more than 10,000 periodicals.
• Safari Tech Books includes a broad range of technical books for programmers and IT professionals.
• Science Citation Index Expandedprovides access to current bibliographic information and cited references from more than 5700 of the world's leading professional scientific research journals. The ISI Citation Databases collectively index more than 8,000 high quality, peer-reviewed journals cover-to-cover, providing complete bibliographic data, searchable author abstracts (science and social sciences), and cited references. Researchers can search the citation data (the footnotes of each article), taking a known, relevant paper and finding other, more recent papers that cite it.
• SciFinder provides access to Chemical Abstracts, the CAS Registry Database, Medline, and Patents. • SPIN is a bibliographic database published by The American Institute of Physics (AIP) that provides twelve years of abstracts for 80 major American and Russian physics and astronomy journals. It consists of General Physics Advance Abstracts and Physical Review Abstracts which can be searched individually or collectively. Advance SPIN is a database of abstracts awaiting publication.
